Meet Lavish Stylist, Taylor!

Our guests at Lavish love Taylor…..especially the puppy dog lovers!

About Taylor….

Taylor is Lavish Salon’s resident queen of Balayage and trendy, hip styling.  She is everyone’s ‘little sister’ and you will feel right at home with her as you relax in her chair with a morning Mimosa or an afternoon Chardonnay. As with all of our stylists, Taylor has been trained by licensed massage therapists and guided on giving her guests the ultimate in a spa-like salon experience.

We are always gleaming over the gorgeous long locks that come out of Taylor’s chair.  She has an amazing way of creating trendy colors and styles that make even us 40 and 50 year olds feel 20-something again.

An Introduction from Taylor….

My name is Taylor, I’m proudly Texas born and raised. I’ve lived in the same small town of New Caney my entire life. In a nutshell, I’m a crazy dog mom, Disney obsessed, hairstylist that can pretty much quote all of Lilo and Stitch. If I won the super bowl, I’d go to Disney Land too!  I’m extremely artistic, I love to sew, (mainly bandanas for my dogs), sculpt and paint in my spare time.

The feeling you get when you can express yourself through art is so gratifying, and when my expression makes someone feel beautiful, the fulfillment I gain  from that is unimaginable. One of my greatest fears was going to a job that I hated doing…..and, after a couple of years of soul searching and combining my artistic talents with my love of making people feel beautiful, I became a hairstylist!   “If you do what you love you’ll never work a day in your life.” That sticks by me every time I see the smile on my clients when I turn the chair around.

I’m Aveda trained, and I’ve been doing hair for a little over 2 years. I specialize in Brazilian Blowouts, cutting, and color; specifically balayage and corrective color. I love to push myself creatively, to be a better stylist and I’m always up for a challenge.

Animals are a very large part of who I am, from raising horses, cows, pigs and pups. Being a vet tech was my close second option. I’m pretty much a dog whisperer, I never met a puppy I didn’t want to pet. I’m the proud dog mama of 2 beautiful little girls. My oldest and biggest baby, Georgia, is a 4 year old English Cocker Spaniel, who doesn’t hear the word no very often. And my youngest and newest ankle biter is, Scout the 4 month old Australian Shepherd, she is frequently asked “what is in your mouth?” and told “leave your sister alone!”  My life wouldn’t be near as fun without these girls to keep it interesting.

CAUTION: If you are a guest in my salon chair you will be forced to look at pictures and or videos of my precious pups!

Come see me for your next hair appointment….and, let’s chat about animals while you are here!  I promise I’ll let you show off pics of your own fur babies too!
